Just last week, we saw a video of the Hoonigan team. The task of the team is to install Chevrolet Performance's largest V8 large crate engine 10.4L ZZ632 to the historic third-generation Camaro Z/28. The engine was used to develop the mule, the cradle of the legendary 454 large V8. There are about 5 days before the SEMA show in 2021. We got the latest news about the team’s progress, because they officially "unboxed" the 1,004 horsepower, Hellephant-fighting large V8, and installed a crate engine and gearbox at the same time. And the rear end.

If you watched the last video, you will notice that the team didn't even get the ZZ632 crate engine, but a model display, cleverly disguised as a 427 valve cover. This is not the case anymore.

Some other progress notes include the installation of a new cluster meter that looks completely digital. They completed the installation of the four-link suspension system and installed shock-absorbing coils to help manage the overall weight of the engine and vehicle. The team also used the Jerico four-speed connection they cited in the first video to connect the engine and transmission. Since the huge Chevrolet Performance ZZ632 large block V8 crate engine is running under temperature, the engine compartment is painted (red) and a heat shield is added to the firewall to prevent any problems.

There are no wheels yet, but we do see huge drilled brakes, one of which is a Hoonigan with a large ole' 305 section tire fixed to the fender. Here, we got a glimpse of what the posture of a large Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 might look like. If the team uses 305 tires, it will beat the aggressive Hoonicorn Ford Mustang build, which uses 295/35/18 Toyo tires.

This Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 version has some way to go, including finishing the interior, installing wheels and tires, and running the ZZ632 engine before the official start of the 2021 SEMA show on November 2nd. Watch the latest Hoonigan video to really understand what we are all doing.

I can't help but wonder, how big a nitrogen tank is needed for rough running?

You may want to invest in a dry sump oil system first.

'This is a hypothetical idea. An aluminum block, a common deck, 550 cubes, a dry oil pan, and a large supply of nitrous acid. Rescue Olds 88 from the 60s on the modified track. There is even a stick. This Camaro is still really good

That is a helluva build table LOL
