After Salt Lake City (AP) lost 43 points to Minnesota a day ago, Jamorant and the Memphis Grizzlies held a 90-minute team meeting in Utah to clarify the air.

In the last few seconds against the Jazz, they had nothing to say.

Therefore, in Monday's game against Rudy Gobert, after Jalen Jackson won the jump ball, Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins skipped the timeout and instead let his players win the game.

"I don't need to say anything," Jenkins said.

Morant drove to the center and kicked the ball back to Jackson, who made a three-pointer in the Grizzlies' 119-118 win.

''Anytime Ja drives, it's as if there are eyes on the back of his head. He already knows where everyone is on the court. He attracted a lot of attention and was able to hit my position with an excellent pass," said Jackson, who scored a season-high 26 points.

Morant scored 32 points, Desmond Bain scored a career-high 28 points, and the Grizzlies scored the final 7 points in the last four games, which was their third victory.

''I'm just looking at the floor. We asked Jaren to keep the distance and Rudy (Gobert) away from the paint area. When I was driving, I saw Rudy take a few steps. If I put it down, he might block me, so I read it right," Morant said.

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 24 points and made seven season-best three-pointers. He made consecutive jumpers from outside the three-point line in the last two minutes, putting the Jazz in the best position.

It was a 112 tie, Gobert blocked Morant's shot, Royce O'Neal found Bogdanovic, and Bogdanovic made a three-pointer. The next time behind, the Croatian sharpshooter took a 118-112 lead with 1 minute and 28 seconds left in the game.

Memphis made 4 of 6 free throws and blocked the Jazz in consecutive offenses. Then, with Morant's error with 14.1 seconds left, the official comment showed that Gobert did not interfere with the ball in the cylinder.

The result was a jump ball in the midfield and Jackson defeated Gobert.

Donovan Mitchell scored 18 points on 5 of 20 shots, but missed an unbalanced jumper at the buzzer.

''They defended well, but I just missed some shots tonight. It happened," Mitchell said, while at the same time mainly blaming the loss for giving up offensive rebounds and turnovers.

Gobert had 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Mike Conley had 19 points and assists for the Jazz.

"We were six points ahead with one minute left in the game, and we didn't execute for three consecutive rounds," Gobert said. "For a team with our experience, there are too many mistakes."

The Jazz (11-6) led 80-73 with Hassan Whiteside's tip, and the Grizzlies scored 9 points in a row to take the lead in the second half. Bain made two three-pointers in the run, and Brandon Clark had a monster block on Bogdanovic.

As the pace increased significantly, the Jazz and Grizzlies subsequently exchanged several exciting games. At the end of the third quarter, Conley scored 74 points in total between the two teams. The air relay passed to Gobert for a layup and entered the final quarter 96-92.

This is the first encounter since the Jazz eliminated the Grizzlies 4-1 in the first round of the playoffs last season.

''It is an important moment for us to win this victory. In that series, we played most of each game, played very well, and in the last four minutes of these games, they performed better and left us," Morant said.

Grizzlies: Bain scored or assisted 7 of the first 10 shots in Memphis. Since the offseason hand surgery, Dillon Brooks has missed his second game with a sore right hamstring in the first three games of the season. Memphis has a 24-2 advantage in turnover points and an 18-13 advantage in fast break points.

Jazz: The Jazz started with 1 of 12 shots from beyond the three-point line. Utah now defeated their opponents in the West 6-1, and the six-game winning streak against Memphis was broken. Mitchell has a season-high 8 assists.

Gobert has 5 blocks more than Greg Ostertag (Greg Ostertag), he ranked third in the team's career block list with 1,254 blocked shots.

Grizzlies: Host the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.

Jazz: Host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
