The following items are taken from the report of the Socorro Police Department

At 3:14 pm, a police officer was called to Arby's house, stating that a man might be drunk. Upon arrival, the officer noticed that a black GMC had occupied several parking spaces with the engine running. Walking to the driver, the police saw that the driver was asleep. The driver was awakened and asked to lower the window several times. The suspect rolled the window halfway down and then pulled the window back. While talking with the man, the police officer noticed that he was slurred and his eyes were bloodshot. He admitted that he had shot a few shots about an hour ago and was asked to perform an on-site sobriety test, but he refused. An inspection with NCIC revealed that his driver’s license was suspended/repealed and he was arrested as a result. During the inventory process, the official found five small bottles of alcoholic beverages in and around the center console. One of the five people is empty. The police officer met with the whistleblower and was told that the male suspect almost rear-ended another car, but did not know whether the driver was ill or had diabetes. The suspect said he did not have diabetes. The suspect refused to undergo a breath test and was sent to Socorro General Hospital for a physical examination, and then detained in a detention center.

A police officer was called to the emergency room at 5:07 am because a woman had damaged the computer. Upon arrival, the officer was told that the woman may be affected by LSD and could not be controlled. The woman refused to wear clothes and damaged a computer worth between US$8,000 and US$10,000 with water. The computer was submerged in water, and the keyboard hung over it. The woman was sitting on the floor and was told that she had been arrested. She was handcuffed and a blanket was over her. She was detained at SCDC.

At 10:56 in the evening, a police officer was sent to a residence on Park Street to house an out-of-control teenager. The guardian said that her son was angry because his friend was arrested and then he left the residence. The police officer was given a description of the male juvenile who entered NCIC as a fugitive juvenile. As the teenager went home, the police officer was later called home. A police officer was dispatched to a house in Padilla 800 block at 10:49 am because a neighbor was knocking on her fence. The police officer met with the victim, and the victim said that her neighbors always called her for animal control and made false police reports. The victim said that she did not knock on the neighbor's fence, but was in her residence. The official told the victim that the incident will be reported.

A victim in the 400 block of Melody Lane reported that her young son took her car from the house the day before but did not return. The police officer obtained information about the juvenile and the car and completed the report.

A police officer was dispatched to McDonald's at 7:55 in the morning, and a man was asking customers for money. The store manager repeatedly asked the man to leave, but the man refused. The police officer advised him to leave, and then he crossed the road to another company where he had been illegally hacked before. He was detained at the Socorro County Detention Center.

A victim in the 500 block of Park Street contacted the police, saying that someone had stolen his mail from the mailbox. He said that there was an application on his phone that could show what email he would receive, but he did not receive the email. The victim does not know who is receiving the mail.

The police received a call at 5:55 pm saying that a male suspect was yelling in the emergency room and causing riots. The suspect was arrested and informed to SCDC.

A caller from the post office reported at 3:44 pm that the suspect came in and accused another postal employee of tampering with the suspect’s mail. The caller said that the postal employee in question did not work near the post office box. The suspect was asked to leave. The incident was recorded.

A caller received a letter from a California hospital at 5:58 pm informing the caller that their account was frozen due to a data breach. The caller said that she does not have medical insurance, but has medical assistance. The caller added that she has filed a tax return but has not yet received the tax return. The victim said that her identity had been stolen before, and she did not know why she did not receive her return.

At 9:57 in the evening, officials were summoned to the 200th block of Otero for a possible battle. A male suspect who was known to have a valid arrest warrant was prevented from leaving the area. The suspect took the money and her mobile phone from the victim, and put them in his truck. She was able to reach his truck and retrieve the money, but he climbed out of the truck and grabbed the money. Then he jumped back into the truck and left with the money and her mobile phone. The police officer tried to find the suspect, but was unable to find it at the time of the report. Fees to be determined.

A victim on Kentucky Street reported that at 5:50 pm, an unidentified suspect threw a stone into the rear window of their van. The police officer did notice damage to the car windows. There are currently no suspects.

A caller reported that at 10:34 pm, a man with dementia left the assisted living nursing home in the 1200 block of Highway 60. The official obtained the description and name of the man, and contacted the auxiliary agency to look for him. A few hours later, the police found him. The man said he was okay, he just went for a walk. He was sent back to the nursing facility.

At 7:12 in the evening, the police were called to the Wal-Mart parking lot because a woman wanted to report the crime. The police officer rushed to the scene and checked the video of the incident. The video showed that the suspect was talking to the victim beside the victim's car. The suspect pushed the door up and hit the victim with the door. The victim confirmed these incidents and asked for charges. The police met with the suspect, and the suspect admitted that she did push the victim's car door, but did not assault the victim. The official charged the suspect.

A police officer was called to the 400 block of Fitch Street at 9:20 am because a child was walking alone in the street. When the police tried to handcuff him, the suspect became tense and resisted, so he had to be taken to the ground. The suspect issued a statement stating that he was not in the victim's home. The suspect has been processed and registered with SCDC.

One victim reported that the suspect’s dog came to their home in the 1200 block of North Sixth Street, entered their chicken coop, and killed the chicken. The victim showed the police officer where the dog’s owner lived. The police officer took care of the loose dog and took it to the shelter. The police officer dialed the phone number on the dog collar, and the owner was told what the dog was doing and was allowed to pick up the dog. The owner of the dog was summoned to court for violations.

A victim in the 600 block of Park St. reported at 6:50 pm that the suspect entered his home and took away the hot-spot modem sent to the victim by the Socorro school, $200 in cash and prescription drugs in the victim’s wallet. The victim said he contacted the school and was told that he would be responsible for the cost of replacing the modem. The suspect has not been found.

A victim in the 900 block of Reservoir Road reported at 12:21 am that the suspect had thrown stones in the house and damaged windows. The police inspected the area, but no suspects were found. The police officer met with the victim and saw damaged windows and damaged televisions. The victim identified the person who broke the window. The case is under trial.

A victim reported at 9:26 am that an unidentified suspect used her social security information to falsely apply for unemployment benefits. A police officer was dispatched due to an intrusion in Block 500 in Central. Upon arrival, the officer inspected several locked buildings and found a woman in one of the buildings. She was asked to walk out of the building and was arrested. The homeowner said that surveillance video showed that the woman entered with force. There was no property damage, and no measures seemed to be taken at this time. The woman refused to talk to the police officer. She was taken to the hospital for a medical examination and then registered with the SCDC.

A victim in the 1600 block of El Camino Real reported that an unidentified suspect took their vehicle from their driveway. The victim provided the police officer with vehicle information. VIN runs through NCIC. The police replied via radio that the car had been towed away the day before, when it was in Hicks Towing.

At 11:16 in the evening, the police were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of Mariposa for homework. The officer met with a female victim. She said that her son was angry and started destroying her residence before leaving. She said that her son made a hole in her door and threw the items throughout the house. The police officer noticed that the damage was consistent with her statement. The police officer advised the victim that he would try to find the suspect.

A victim reported at 8:43 pm that an unidentified person used their information to apply for unemployment benefits. The victim received a debit card in the email that she did not request. She said that she contacted her previous employer, who stated that a representative who claimed to be from Workforce Solutions contacted the company, so the company provided her information to the unknown suspect.

A police officer was dispatched to the 1000 block in California at 7:59 in the morning to obtain the card stuck in the ATM. The police officer tried to withdraw the card from the ATM. The victim is advised to contact the bank and notify them, and cancel the card.

A caller reported at 3:06 pm that her ex-boyfriend arrived and took a puppy when she was in the duck pond of New Mexico Institute of Technology. She said that she had been in a relationship with her ex for eight years. The police officer found his ex-boyfriend. He confirmed that he had an eight-year relationship with the caller and bought the dog for between US$200 and US$400. The man said he just wanted to take the dog back from the electric man.
