Bajaj Pulsar F250 Top 5 Highlights-ZigWheels

After many previews and spy photos, Bajaj Pulsar F250 finally made its debut yesterday, which brought a fresh air to the Pulsar lineup. That's it.

New and familiar design

Like Pulsar 220F, Pulsar F250 also has a half fairing. However, it looks more aggressive and sporty. The fairing is equipped with an LED projection lamp and an LED DRL similar to a boomerang, and there is a small vent below. Its top is a smoked sun visor, which should provide good wind protection when the rider is in a fully folded position. At the rear, there is a single-piece panel on each side with an F250 sticker on it. Even the tailboard looks sharper than the tailboard of its predecessor Pulsar 220F.

Both Pulsar F250 and Pulsar N250 are powered by a 249.07cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine. It claims to output 24.5PS and 21.5Nm, and is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj also added slippers and an auxiliary clutch to avoid locking the rear wheels and reducing the force of the clutch lever during a hard downshift.

More features

The manufacturer has been generous enough and provided more features. In addition to the surrounding LED lighting, you can also get a USB charging port (located behind the handlebar). The semi-digital trunking is also suitable for the new 250, but with a completely new design. It provides you with an analog tachometer with a digital screen, including speedometer, trip meter, real-time mileage, empty distance, gear indicator, clock and fuel level readings.

Even though it is a semi-streamlined sports motorcycle, it has not missed the commuter-friendly characteristics. Thanks to the wide and upright handlebars and slightly rear-mounted pedals. Overall, the rider triangle seems quite relaxed. In addition, the Pulsar F250 has a 14-liter fuel tank, which should contribute to its one-mile chewing potential.

As for the foundation, Bajaj equipped the Pulsar F250 with a traditional telescopic fork and a single shock absorber. As for the brake hardware, you will get a 300mm front brake disc and a 230mm rear brake disc with single-channel ABS. It's a bit disappointing to see a single channel unit at the price you paid. The bicycle is made of 17-inch alloy with 100/80 front tires and 130/70 rear tires.

The asking price of Bajaj Pulsar F250 is set at Rs 1,40,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it 6,093 more expensive than the brother Pulsar 220F. For the above premium, you will get more power, new designs and more features.
