British racing and engineering company M-Sport may be known for the Bentley Continental GT3 endurance car and the Ford Fiesta R5 customer rally car. Since the first of 294 Fiesta R5 Mk vehicles were built. In 2013, a small competitor team won more than 950 races in total. Therefore, when a long-term customer of M-Sport asked the company to do something special with a Fiat Panda from the 1990s, the model retained the Panda-ness of the car and made it an excellent rally car. , M-Sport decided to combine Italians with British and Americans. The result is the M-Sport Panda, a widened Panda body lowered on the Fiesta R5 chassis and engine. Also called Panda'monium. Or Pandiesta, if you are drunk.

Simply mounting the slim Fiat on the tube frame chassis means widening the Panda's body shell by 14.2 inches; that smooth grille is actually made of two panda grilles to get the desired width. That operation helped to maintain the original panda's outline, but it took more to slide the carnival's wider track. The box-section wheel arches provide more lateral stretch, at the front, flowing into the front bumper of the semi-snow plow. Vertically, the wheelbase of Pandiesta is 12.6 inches longer than the stock Panda.

Ford's 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine is located under the hood. It sends nearly 300 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque to four Pirelli P Zeros through a five-speed sequential transmission and two custom differentials. The new rear diffuser and the single central exhaust unit convey the seriousness of the effort. The hand-embossed letters on the rear hatch are spelled "PANDA 4x4" in case anyone has any doubts that it has the same powerful functions as the standard Panda 4x4. Except for imitating the panda's dashboard and the co-pilot's pedals, the interior is all Fiesta R5. The latter is also engraved with the words "Panda".

Despite the license plate, there is no issue of street legitimacy or illegality. M-Sport stated that Panda'monium is ready for any special stage on the tarmac or gravel. It seems that this is also a car that creates a new department for customers, called MS-SV, or M-Sport special vehicle. You can watch M-Sport owner Malcom Wilson taking you to visit M-Sport's Panda in the video at the top, and check the performance of the finished product on the track here.
