Since repairing cracks in cast iron heads is a serious job, Goodson recently released a 0.235" crack repair kit. This complete kit includes everything needed to repair a cracked cast iron cylinder head using a cold repair process.
The kit includes 100 genuine Irontite 0.235" x 15/16" threaded crack repair plugs and the drill, reamer and two taps you need to insert them. Goodson also includes a cutting saw with a blade to trim the installed plug to the proper height. You will also find Irontite all-weather seals and ceramic motor seals as well as a can of cutting and tapping fluid.
