In Corani, province of Azángaro (Puno), the head of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) confirmed that the government of President Pedro Castillo respects, supports and promotes the development of private activity, always with respect for the communities and socio-environmental issues.

Likewise, together with the President of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, he greeted the members of the Nueva Teresita mining cooperative and the Central de Cooperativas Mineras de San Antonio de Poto (CECOMSAP) of Ananea who completed the process of formalizing their activities, promoting the responsible and sustainable development of Small Mining and Artisanal Mining.

The minister highlighted that, in Corani, MINEM has been working on a rural electrification project called Extension of primary lines, primary and secondary networks to benefit 7 localities, which to date has registered an advance of 70%, with its completion projected for December of this year.
