Aug 17, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s privately owned liquefied petroleum (LP) gas supplier, Laugfs Gas PLC has decided to reduce domestic gas prices with effect from midnight Wednesday.
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5kg cylinder of Laugfs domestic gas has been reduced by Rs. 1,050 to Rs. 5,800.
In a statement Laugfs Gas PLC said the price of a 5kg cylinder of Laugfs domestic gas has been reduced to Rs. 2,320 and a 2kg gas cylinder will be sold for Rs.928.
Meanwhile, a ship carrying 3,120 metric tons of LP gas for Laughs Gas arrived at Hambantota port yesterday (16).
