This V8 powered armored truck also happens to be on sale.

You can go out and buy a new GMC Hummer EV (just not the sold-out version 1), and will most likely drive home happily (every time it arrives in the showroom). A lot of off-road adventure awaits you. Or, for about the same money, you can stick to tradition with the 6.7-liter V8 engine that powers the Terradyne Gurkha Light Armoured Patrol Vehicle (LAPV).

This customized 15,742-mile 2017 Terradyne Gurkha is based on the Ford F-450 Super Duty chassis and is currently being auctioned off on collector cars. It is said to be in very good overall condition, which makes sense considering the low mileage. Not only is it an off-road beast, but it also has a B4 armor rating.

Hey, everyone has enemies. Some are more dangerous than others. Painted in matte granite gray, the exterior is equipped with a complete LED lighting kit, 20-inch wheels with internal bead locks, and even a roof-mounted escape hatch, when you have no other survival options.

Other cool items include a 40-gallon main fuel tank and an 80-gallon auxiliary fuel tank, Alpine sound system, battery charging system with automatic pop-up function, external and internal walkie-talkies, and military-spec window glass. The off-road equipment list is impressive: Fox shock absorbers, heavyweight 16.5ti winch, front differential lock and on-board high-output air compressor.

Inside, you will find black and red leather with diamond quilting, contrast stitching for all six passengers, and a center console with backlit switches and map lights. Of course, such a large vehicle requires a standard reversing camera and rear proximity sensor. Whoever wins the bid will definitely get something very unique but not particularly fuel-efficient. Nevertheless, it still has body armor and bulletproof glass. These two points alone are worth the price.

At the time of writing, the highest bid has reached $65,500. The auction ends later in the afternoon on this Sunday, December 12. Will the bid reach or exceed US$100,000? It's hard to say, because this thing is very niche.
